Sylvia Dunton was always a very strong lady. She has been married to Bob for over 50 years and devoted her whole life to caring for him and their two children Steve and Sue. Sylvia was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in March 2005 having first shown symptoms in November 2003. Throughout her illness she took everything it threw at her and never complained. She sadly lost her fight on 19th April 2007 surrounded by the people she loved. Sylvia was the strongest, kindest and most unselfish lady you could ever know and she will be sadly missed. Sadly, four weeks and two days later, Sylvia's loving husband Bob, died of a broken heart on 21st May 2007. He never came to terms with her illness and couldn't go on without her. They are together now, which is where they always wanted to be and we miss them both very much.
